Our Mission

The mission of the Association of Community Ministries is to:

• Promote awareness of the services available through the community ministries.
• Facilitate the work of its faith based community ministries and their more than 340 member congregations through collaboration, education, support, and fundraising.

The ACM represents 15 independent community ministries providing social services to Jefferson County residents without regard for age, race, sexual orientation, disabilities, national origin, or religious affiliation. Each ministry is innovative and quite creative as it stretches resources to provide programs that fit the needs of its individual community.
