PENNYRILE FOREST STATE RESORT PARK! Named for the tiny Pennyroyal plant found in the woodlands surrounding this resort, Pennyrile Forest is the perfect back-to-nature hideaway. The park features 24 lodge rooms, restaurant, golf course and meeting rooms. Our package includes 6 meals, planned recreational activities, and charter bus transportation. Cost for this great getaway is $259 for a double and $295 for a single. Payments are needed by April 7. We will leave at 10am and return around 6 or 6:30pm. |

UCHM invites you to "Listen and Learn" on Wednesday, May 15 at 12:00 pm.
Father Jerry Eifler, M.A., M. Ed., retired ordained Roman Catholic priest of St. Frances of Rome, and Founder of The Clifton Center, will be our guest speaker.
Don't miss this opportunity to hear from Louisville's Fr. Jerry, as he tells about the history of The Clifton Center. John Harris, the Executive Director of the Center, will share what the Center is currently doing in our Community.
"Listen & Learn" is held at The Senior Center at UCHM,150 S. State Street, at Frankfort Avenue.
Those not already registered at the Senior Center Congregate Meal Program will need to bring a brown bag lunch. UCHM will provide tea, coffee, and dessert for the entire audience.
RSVP: To make a reservation, call UCHM (502-893-0346) by noon on Tuesday, May 14th. Please kindly RSVP so we will know how much dessert to provide for our program participants.
Father Jerry Eifler, M.A., M.Ed., is a native of Louisville. He attended St. Xavier High School, St. Mary's College, St. Meinrad Seminary, and Spalding University. Ordained as a Roman Catholic priest in 1961, he has served as an associate pastor, parish priest, teacher, counselor, therapist, and director of development at Bellarmine University. Currently retired from serving as pastor of St. Frances of Rome Church in Louisville, Fr. Jerry serves as a liturgist to several Parish communities in the Clifton / Crescent Hill area.
Fr. Jerry has authored three books on contemporary homilies. During his Pastorate at St. Frances of Rome, Fr. Jerry founded The Clifton Center. He enjoys art, architecture, travel, music, theater, history, and archeology.

Come enjoy a day out with our Senior Program on Wednesday, May 22 as we travel together to Slow Poke Farms, Zappo's, Donna Sharp's Quilts, and a local winery for taste testing!
We will leave at 10am and return around 4:30pm. Cost for lunch, wine taste testing, and charter bus transportation is $59.
We have requested homemade corn pudding, and fried chicken from the cooks at Slow Poke. Come enjoy a leisurely day out in the country. Payments are needed by 5/15. |

Planet Einstein is presenting the first AVENUE Talk, featuring Margaret Browning, owner of Margaret's Consignments - Frankfort Avenue, Louisville. The talk will be held on May 29, 2013 at 11am and at 6 pm. Part of the proceeds will go to UCHM, Hosparus, and St. Joseph Children's Home.
It will be held at the Clifton Center at 2117 Payne Street, Louisville, KY 40206. Ticket Prices: VIP Seating $25, General Admission $15

SENIOR DAY at CHURCHILL DOWNS! We will leave at 1:00pm for our lunch buffet and afternoon of racing. We have great seats in Skye Terrace. Times are different this year-- the races will begin at 2:45pm, and we will leave before the last race begins at 8pm. We plan to be back between 8 and 8:30pm. Cost for this day out is $45(same as last year). Payments are needed by April 15. Anyone cancelling after this date will not receive a full refund unless someone can be found to take your place.
